The department of computer science & Applications was started in the year of 2011. The department is equipped with fully qualified and experienced faculty members. It has state-of-the art laboratories, Internet and other required modern facilities. The department aims at producing students with good academic record and sufficient soft skills to enhance their employability. Over the years, the department has produced highly qualified and efficient computer professionals. The Department has produced University Rank and many of the candidates with Distinction.

Today’s global IT Field is compete and dynamic nature, to become a successful person a computer science student should have the realistic programme capabilities. The Department focuses at harvesting excellence in computer education and provide wide platform for young graduates to equip themselves through class room teaching, seminars workshops and skill Development.

• Intelligence System lab has 60 Computers powered by Intel Processors with software that are required for students preinstalled. Each Computer is powered by Intel core i3 Processor and 4 gigabytes. All computers run on windows 7 os.

SHANMUGAPRIYA had been placed 4th place in University Rank list in the academic year 2014-15 and K.SNEHA had been placed 8th place in University Rank list in the academic year 2016-17 brought laurels to our department and to the college.

Computer Science department provides all possible channels for the students to enrich their knowledge by arranging conference seminars, symposia, workshops, guest lectures at regular intervals, Interactive session, group discussion etc., help the students to get their doubts clarified. Resource Persons and eminent professors from various parts of the country are invited for these programmes.
